The following pictures have the log beach obstacles pointing the wrong way. (I guess Spielburg mad the same mistake in Saving Private Ryan).The way they are suppose to work is that a landing craft would hit them and slide up the log until the mine attached higher up would explode, sending shrapnel down into the men.
