I remember lying at bed at night wondering if Conte would ever make the figures in plastic..and imagining the fun one could have with that many super-cool poses.
ACW Playset 3 goes beyond what I ever imagined back four or five years ago. 32 poses of plastic figures...and all the single color pewter figures...and the Crater. You can put together a reb firing line with 8 different firing poses as well as loaders and guys at the ready. You can have a charge with 16 different advancing poses...and the violence depicted in the pewter hand to hand pieces and the casualties is so intense, it goes way beyond what I dreamed about back then. The first two playsets were OK...but by nature they were incomplete...installments on the way to a grand goal. "The Crater" sees that goal reached! And if you're fortunate enough to have the space and budget to afford all three sets...It's Playset Heaven!
