GI Blistercards Have Arrived & Are Now Shipping!!

Special introductory price ........

Dear Conte Collector,

The long awaited  UNpainted Gi Blistercards have arrived.  Ten different cards each containing 10  injection molded figures.

A total of 27 new poses are spread amongst the 10 cards.

These figures are already being called the best plastic figures ever made by collectors and dealers and the one magazine editor who has seen these thus far.  Words like 'superb', 'the best ever', 'engineering marvels', 'amazing' etc. have been said to us repeatedly.....and I must admit , we are mighty proud of these.

While I don't like to compare our efforts to product made by others (all toy soldiers are great!) I must say that these are our best Conte plastic to date  and make future plastic possibilities even more exciting to me.

The photos of these sets and the very kind comments being made describe these new GIs better than I can or should attempt to do.  The sculpting is great and this time we have not had to make any concessions when it came to molding these.......some of the figures contain as many as 8 or more separately molded parts.....'undercuts' are beyond my wildest expectations and we have virtually eliminated the ugly 'blockout' normally seen in the plastic toy soldier world (like the filling in of what should be 'air' between and arm and a chest of a figure firing a rifle.....or the underside of a helmet which usually must be filled with plastic where one in real life would be able to look 'up' and see the side of the head and helmet.....or shovels hanging out 'in mid air'...or the existence of 'space' between straps and the body.......etc...)

These figures have taken alot of time and money to bring them to market (over $5000 per figure) but I am convinced that the delays and the costs were justified as I think we've set a new standard for ourselves and opened the door for life-like full round, highly animated poses.  These figures show what can be achieved in the plastic toy soldier world and really have me anxious to see samples of our Spartans which are in the mold making process....but that's for 2007!!

Each blistercard will contain 10 figures and retail for $14.99  individually or approximately $1.50 per figure.

We are offering an introductory special whereby all 10 different cards can be purchased for $120 (and get free shipping) which brings the price down to $1.20 per figure a savings of 3o cents per figure or $30 on buying all 10 cards

The figures come in a choice of colors: green/khaki or a light brown or a medium tan .
I've been asked which color I like best and all I can say is I like all 3. Collectors seem to like all 3 colors but I've heard several times that the light brown shows off the detail really well........honestly, I can't pick which of the 3 colors I like the best......

Thanks as always for your kind support of our plastic efforts--I continue to try and bring my fellow plastics collectors the most detailed sculpts and modern production whilst still  paying homage to the Marx and other plastics of our youth. I appreciate you 'die - hards' supporting us 'early' & "often' so that we may defray some of the massive costs associated with bringing figures of this caliber to life.....
